A MESSAGE FROM THE CHANCELLOR/DEAN
And you should teach them the statutes and the laws and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do. Exodus 18: 20 NKJV At American Mission Teams and this International Affiliate School site, our commission is to teach the ordinances and laws of God so that God’s people can clearly see the way they should live and the work they must do to build the Kingdom of God. This is what our college is all about.
GOALS
Its goals are strictly toward the student. The student’s spiritual growth is the most important aspect of our college experience. AMT/IAS has not been designed to provide a job for the professor nor a place for the administrator but is established for the student to learn. What he/she learns is of primary importance. Education is not just for consuming; it is a tool to be used to benefit the Kingdom of God. The New Testament declares, Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.. (II Timothy 2: 15 NKJV) American Mission Teams and this International Affiliate School site are dedicated to the study of God’s Word in order to present accomplished workmen in God’s Kingdom. The basis of the courses of International College of Bible Theology is strictly the Bible.
Therefore, a student should not expect to find church doctrine in them. Also, there are differing thoughts about such things as the rapture, end times, dispensations, etc. We have tried to give different views, as each student will have to make up their own mind as to what is true in some of these controversial areas.
We want to make the students aware, however, that the quizzes and exams are based on the commentary’s statements, and not as made by a particular church’s doctrines. American Mission Teams and the Administration of this International Affiliate School acknowledges and gives praise to our Heavenly Father and extends a heartfelt thank you to all the people who have helped make this Bible College a reality.

A MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Dear Student: Welcome to this International Affiliate School (AMT/IAS)! We are thrilled that you are here. We expect good things to happen in your life, both during the school year and in the years to come. Your preparation for the ministry is a very serious responsibility and must not be treated lightly. It is important that you realize that the time you invest in training at AMT/IAS will shape the course of your future effectiveness in ministry.
This International Affiliate School site was established to equip men and women for the work of the ministry. Although we expect that you will see personal spiritual development and growth while you are at AMT/IAS, our goal is to provide you with the tools with which you can reach out to meet the needs of others. You will receive from your training at AMT/IAS exactly what you put into it. No more, no less. If you apply yourself diligently to your studies and to your personal development, you will leave AMT/IAS ready to stand in the ministry to which God has called you. It will be wise for you to heed the words written to believers in Galatians 6: 7-8, .Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
As the Board of Directors of AMT/IAS, we encourage you to get involved with the many outreaches available through this Affiliate School. It is our desire to complement your training by seeking to demonstrate in practical ways the principles you have been taught in theory in the classroom. Because we believe that AMT/IAS will enrich your overall ministerial training, we expect you to avail yourself of the opportunity to apply the things that you will learn in your studies.
Our faculty and staff are dedicated to being of assistance to you in every area of your life. Through this Affiliate School site, many social activities and ministry outlets will be available to you. As you benefit from the many opportunities to increase your knowledge and practical experience, we want also for you to enjoy your time at AMT/IAS. Together, let us determine to press on to the things of God and to get the most out of every learning experience that is presented.
Respectfully yours in Christ: AMT/IAS Board of Directors

THE VISION
As we have been commissioned by the prophet of old, we now set our hand to write the vision of American Mission Teams Evangelistic Organization, so that: "He that runs may read it, the vision having been clearly written and made plain" Habakkuk 2:2. 1) ONE CROSS FOR ALL - To cross the cultural, racial, and denominational lines for unity, fellowship, networking, and progress. To have an open door through I.C.B.T to all who desire to join us in a common goal and for the highest good. To proclaim one cross for all cultures, races, denominations, and peoples.
UNITY - To build up the Body of Christ by networking with churches large and small, international as well as local ministries. This networking is to encourage seasoned leadership ministries in the small, local Church, to promote unity and fellowship among pastors, Church leadership and parachurch groups through active service.
3) GOSPEL - To go with the lifeline of the Gospel, to educate with love, integrity, and without compromise.
GO YE - To go wherever there is a need, to rich or poor, to majorities or minorities, to large or small churches, to free or bound, to go where many fail to go and to meet the needs before us.
THE CALLED - To make available opportunities to those called to ministers and to expand their horizons through new associations and experiences. I.C.B.T desires to aid new and/or younger ministers fulfilling God's call on their lives.
6) EDUCATION – To propagate the Gospel to the poor, the minorities, and small churches through on site and correspondence schooling that teaches the basics of Christianity, as well as more in-depth levels in Christian teachings.
APPLICATION- To bring opportunities to students by making teaching and information available to them for practical application and beyond traditional confines.
DREAM A DREAM - To cause each person we associate with to catch a vision, to dream yet another dream, and to keep their eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of their faith. 9) THE CALL - To encourage each person to move out of his/her comfort zone, to be all he/she can be for Christ and to fulfill that call upon his/her life. To encourage each one to pursue his/her purpose, live up to his/her potential, and produce the Fruit of the Spirit. 7 American
Mission Teams- International Affiliate School
DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
American Mission Teams and this International Affiliate School considers the following truths to be fundamental to an understanding of our relationship to the One True and Living God. Ø ONE TRUE GOD The One True God is the eternally self-existent .I AM., the Creator of the universe. He has further revealed Himself as a triune Being, manifested as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deut. 6: 4; Isa. 43: 10, 11; Isa. 48: 16; Matt. 28: 19; Lk. 3: 22) ØSCRIPTURES INSPIRED All Scripture is verbally inspired by God as written in the original languages and is inerrant revelation of God to man. The Bible is the infallible authority for faith and conduct. (II Tim. 3:15-17; I Thess. 2:13; I Pet. 1: 21) Ø THE LORD JESUS CHRIST The Lord Jesus is 100% divine (Son of God) while simultaneously being 100% human (Son of Man). As God Incarnate, He is the express image of the Living God in human form. (Matt. 1: 23; Jn. 5: 22; II Jn. 3; Heb. 11:1-13) Ø
ORIGINAL SIN & FALL OF MAN Man was created good and upright in the image and likeness of God. The first man, Adam, through disobedience, fell from the grace of God and, thus, sin and death entered into the world. Adam’s transgression incurred not only physical death for man, but also spiritual death which is eternal separation from God. Man’s propensity to sin because of his sinful nature necessitates salvation from the power of sin and a Savior to provide that salvation. (Gen. 1: 26, 27; Gen. 2:1-17, 3:4-6; Rom. 7: 13-25) Ø
SALVATION OF MAN Man’s only hope of redemption and salvation from sin is through the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. His blood is completely sufficient to deliver every person from the power and penalty of sin. (Acts 4: 12; Rom. 5: 8-13, 10: 9; Ja. 1: 21; Eph. 2: 8) ØBAPTISM IN WATER Baptism by immersion in water is commanded in the Scriptures. All who repent of their sins and believe in Christ as Savior and Lord are to be baptized. (Matt. 28: 19; Mark 16: 16; Acts 10: 47, 48; Rom. 6: 4; Col. 2: 11, 12) Ø
THE CHURCH AND ITS MISSION The Church is the Body of Christ and is comprised of all believers. God inhabits the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit both individually and corporately. Since God’s purpose concerning man is to seek and to save that which is lost, to be worshipped by man, and to build a body of believers in the image of His Son, the Church’s responsibility is: 1. To evangelize the world; 2. To be a corporate Body in which man may worship and glorify God. (Acts 1: 8; Matt. 28: 19, 20; Mark 16: 15, 16; I Cor. 12: 28, 14: 12) Ø
HOLY COMMUNION The Lord’s Supper, consisting of bread and a cup of the fruit of the vine, is a memorial of Jesus’ suffering and death and a celebration of His resurrection to be enjoyed by all believers until He comes again. (II Pet. 1: 4; I Cor. 11: 26) Ø BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT The Baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. This experience is distinct from and subsequent to the experience of the new birth. With the baptism of the Holy Spirit comes the endowment of power for life and service and the bestowing of spiritual gifts. (Acts 2: 4; Lk. 24: 49; Acts 1: 4, 8; I Cor. 12: 1-31; Acts 8: 12-17, 10: 44-46, 15: 7-9, 19: 1-7) Ø
EVER INCREASING FAITH Faith of heart is based on the hearing (spiritual understanding) of God’s Word. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Christians are saved through faith, justified by faith, shall live by faith, and overcome the world by faith. (Rom. 10: 9, 10, 17; Heb. 11: 6; Eph. 2: 8; Rom. 3: 28, 5: 1; Gal. 2: 16, 3: 11; Rom. 1: 16, 17; Heb. 10: 38; I Jn. 5: 4) ØDIVINE HEALING Divine healing is provided for in both the Old and New Testaments and is integral to the Gospel. (Ex. 15: 23-26; Ps. 103: 1-3; Isa. 53: 4, 5; Matt. 8: 16, 17; Acts 5: 16; Ja. 5: 14-16) Ø
THE SECOND ADVENT OF CHRIST & THE FINAL JUDGMENT As the climax to God’s dealing with man, Jesus is coming again. There will be a resurrection of the righteous and the wicked. The wicked will be judged and the righteous will be ushered into the everlasting Kingdom of God. (I Thess. 4: 16, 17; Zech. 14: 5; Matt. 24: 27- 30; Rev. 1: 7, 19: 11-14, 20: 1-6)
